Finnish birch. Size 5 x 17 cm. Poppy oil finish. Birch can go a bit rough on the surface after the first wash. It will smooth down in use but if you don't want to wait for that you can give it a quick swipe with sandpaper (400) or burnish.
Wash with luke warm water, rinse with cold. Only use mild soap if necessary.
